Plan your visit
Start with the state that issued your permit before arranging a trip from Texarkana for Texas vehicle services.
Two neighboring cities, two licensing agencies
Texarkana, Texas, and Texarkana, Arkansas, share a metro area. Have your permit’s issuing state and your intended testing state ready when you call. If they differ, ask the licensing agencies how the skills test and results would be handled before putting down a rental deposit.
Questions before you book.
Can I assume an Arkansas permit works for my planned Texas test?
Confirm the arrangements with your home licensing agency and the testing agency first. Then ask the rental office about the exact location and class they confirmed.
Where are in-person services available?
Get Your CDL Quick schedules in-person vehicle services in Royse City. If you have a DPS appointment near Texarkana, confirm the rental location and availability with the office before you travel.
What should I ask for in my quote?
Ask for each selected service, the test-vehicle rental, applicable fuel and other charges, retest terms and the written price total. Confirm which services qualify for complimentary ELDT behind-the-wheel and what proficiency you must demonstrate.
